You Can Be Everything God Wants You To Be by Max Lucado
Lucado does it again. he truly is my favorite writer. Lucado takes the time to point out the truth: many great artists have walked across the landscape of time and created one great masterpiece: God walked across time and created every single thing that is. And God does not make mistakes.
All people are unique and God gave talents and gifts to everyone. I cannot draw a stick man but oh how I love to gaze upon a great work of art. I enjoy seeing other people use their gifts and guess what; so does God. God equips us all to serve Him. When we step into our own zone and discover and develop our gifts and talents we are better able to please God. Lucado makes it very simple in this fast reading book as to how we can each do this: I wont be a spoiler but I will say this -- if we give God just a crumb He can turn it into a pie. With a few fish and a little bread God fed over 5000 with many baskets full left over. We forget that what is impossible for us is easy for God. My most favorite prophet is Daniel. Soak the wood and then see that God is God when it ignites!
I cannot begin to tell you what a great book this is and what a great gift it will make any one struggling to find their place. Give Lucado a chance, he has never disappointed me.
